1. Overview

MG Technologies is the registered sole-proprietor brand owned and operated by Michael Joseph Guoynes. MG Technologies operates Andy as its consumer-facing estimate-request and SMS messaging service for service professionals. This policy explains what information MG Technologies collects when you use Andy, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, business details, service area, and schedule preferences you provide during signup and onboarding.
• Customer information — names, phone numbers, service addresses, and job details that your customers provide when they request an estimate through Andy.
• SMS and messaging data — phone numbers, message content, and delivery status for text conversations between Andy and your customers.
• Usage data — how you interact with the service, including pages visited and features used.

3. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Andy service.
• Process estimate requests and facilitate communication between you and your customers. Andy does not currently send automatic appointment reminders.
• Send account-related notifications, service updates, and administrative messages.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS and mobile messaging privacy

When you or your customers interact with Andy via SMS, we collect the phone number, message content, and delivery metadata to provide the service.

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, message content, or SMS consent to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. This applies to customer phone numbers collected through the Andy platform.

Mobile information and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may use third-party service providers (such as Twilio for SMS delivery, Neon for data storage, and OpenRouter and selected AI model providers for processing appointment conversations) solely to operate the service. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us and not for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Message frequency varies based on your requests, service appointment, and conversation with Andy. Most service-request conversations produce 2–10 messages. Additional messages are sent only when you continue the conversation, request a change, or receive an appointment status update. Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier.

5. Opt-in and consent

Customers submit a service estimate request through an Andy booking form, either directly or inside the embedded request widget. That request succeeds when the separate SMS checkbox is left blank. A customer opts in to SMS only by actively selecting the unchecked checkbox before submitting. The adjacent disclosure identifies MG Technologies as the registered sender and Andy as its messaging service, describes the messages, and links to this policy and our Terms and Conditions.

Customers may decline SMS and still submit a request, access service, and purchase goods or services.

6. Opt-out instructions

You or your customers may opt out of SMS messages at any time:

• Reply STOP to any Andy text message to immediately unsubscribe from that conversation.
• Reply HELP for assistance or information about the messages you are receiving.
• Contact us through the channels listed in Section 9 to request removal of your phone number from our systems.

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS from Andy unless you opt back in.

7. Data retention and security

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure infrastructure.

8. Your choices

You may update your account information through the Andy dashboard, manage your communication preferences, and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
