About Andy
MG Technologies is the registered sole-proprietor brand owned and operated by Michael Joseph Guoynes. MG Technologies operates Andy as its consumer-facing estimate-request and SMS messaging service for local service businesses. Customers can text Andy to share service details and request an estimate visit. The service provider reviews the request before an appointment is confirmed. Andy may use AI-assisted replies as described below.
This page provides the disclosures required for our A2P 10DLC SMS campaign registration. It explains what messages we send, how recipients opt in, how they opt out, and how we protect their information.
MG Technologies is the sender and controls the program's opt-in, templates, automation, AI-assisted replies, support, and opt-out handling. Participating service providers supply appointment availability and service details but cannot author or initiate arbitrary campaign messages. A provider's name may appear on the opt-in website only to identify the subject of an appointment; SMS messages identify MG Technologies and Michael Joseph Guoynes as the sender.

Types of messages we send
Andy sends the following categories of text messages:
- Customer intake and booking. When a customer texts Andy or submits a booking form, Andy replies to understand their needs, confirm service details, and schedule an appointment.
- Appointment request updates. Andy may acknowledge that a request was received and clarify the requested date, time, or service details. A request is not an appointment confirmation.
- Service-provider follow-up. The service provider, not Andy, is responsible for confirming a request or communicating schedule changes with the customer.
- Opt-in and opt-out confirmations. Andy sends a confirmation message when a recipient opts in or opts out of SMS messages.
- Help responses. When a recipient texts HELP, Andy replies with information about the service and how to manage preferences.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the conversation and your interaction with the Service:
- Customers: Typically 2–10 messages per booking conversation, depending on the complexity of the service request.
Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
How recipients opt in
- Customers submit a service estimate request through the public booking form. The primary request succeeds whether the separate SMS checkbox is selected or left blank.
- The same primary estimate-request outcome is publicly verifiable inside the live embeddable widget example. The guided widget also submits the request whether its separate SMS checkbox is selected or left blank; it does not use a standalone text-only enrollment action.
- The checkbox is labeled Optional SMS consent, is unchecked by default, and is separate from the request button. Its adjacent disclosure identifies MG Technologies, Michael Joseph Guoynes, Andy, the sending number, recurring message types, variable frequency, possible carrier rates, STOP/HELP instructions, and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
A customer can decline SMS and still submit the same estimate request, access service, and make a purchase. There is no standalone Text Us or keyword enrollment path.
How to opt out
Recipients may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Andy at any time using any of these methods:
- Reply STOP to any text message from Andy. You will receive a confirmation text and will no longer receive messages from that conversation.
- Reply HELP for information about the messages you are receiving and how to manage your preferences.
- Contact us at support@heyandy.com to request removal of your phone number.
After opting out, you will receive no further SMS messages from Andy unless you re-initiate contact. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.
Phone number and data privacy
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, message content, or SMS consent to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Phone numbers and message data are used solely to provide the Andy service — processing booking requests and facilitating communication between service professionals and their customers. We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider; Twilio's use of data is governed by their own privacy policy and our data processing agreement with them.
For complete details on how we handle information, see our Privacy Policy.
Supported carriers
Messages are sent through Twilio and delivered on major US carriers. Delivery is subject to the recipient's carrier network availability and device compatibility. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Compliance
Andy's SMS program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA messaging principles and best practices, and applicable carrier requirements for A2P 10DLC messaging. All messages are sent with proper consent and include clear opt-out instructions.
