A five-minute route check before tomorrow
A quick Google Maps routine for checking tomorrow’s handyman stops without buying route software.

You do not need route software to catch the obvious problem: two jobs near each other with a trip across town between them.
Check tomorrow before you finish today
- Confirm every address. A missing unit number or wrong ZIP code can undo a good plan.
- Mark the fixed appointments. Start with customers who already have a promised time.
- Add the stops to Google Maps. Open Directions, add tomorrow’s addresses, and put your starting point first.
- Move the flexible stops into a better order. Compare the travel time before and after. Google Maps allows up to nine stops, including the final destination.
- Leave room for real life. Parking, a supply run, and a job that runs long still exist.
Do not move a confirmed appointment just because another order looks shorter. Ask the customer first.
